What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a gentle pressure point massage of the over 7000 nerve endings in your feet.  By massaging as many of these points as possible the body is able to relax, rejuvenate and allow the body to heal itself.  Reflexologists do not prescribe, diagnose, or claim to cure.

The purpose of Reflexology is to relax the body from the “soles” up.  Most of the time the entire body is relaxed after the feet have been reflexed.

Reflexology can also be done on the hands, ears and facial nerve endings.

It has been reported that while foot reflexology is the most widely known, it has helped with such things as digestion, insomnia, neck and shoulder pain and an all over good relaxation session.

Working on the hands has had concentrated effects on some in the area of sinuses and headaches.

Ear and Facial Reflexology (Ear reflexology is also known as Auricular Therapy) has been reported by some to have helped them with frozen shoulder, jaw pain, insomnia, shoulder and neck pain and total relaxation.  Some have stated “I couldn’t believe it, I felt so relaxed – like jello”  .

If you haven’t tried reflexology or Chair Massage, I encourage you to make an appointment and check it out.  Or, check out our “Corporate”, “On Site” or “At Work” section and share the experience with your family and friends.
